Hidden Hyperlink

Is it possible to hide a link? When you mouse over a link that the cursor would not change to a pointing finger? Also, the link looks like a normal or regular text in a web page.

Or you could encapsulate the text to click on with a span or div and use the onclick event to do a javascript redirect.
