move_uploaded_file to another server

Hello!

Is it possible to use move_uploaded_file function to upload an image to another server and to perform some CHMOD changes also on another server to which i have root access?

If yes than how, and what settings on that server do i need to change?

You could set it up as an NFS mount.
You could FTP it.
