I think I've screwed up here. I've attempted to upgrade from php version 4.2.1 to 4.3.8 on a slackware linux 9.1 box. I went to php.net get the 4.3.8 ran tar -zxvf I then cd ed into the directory. I ran ./configure with my options then make and make install. No errors were returned. I ran php -v from the command line and I get version 4.3.8. I then went to pull up my test.php page (with phpinfo() call) on mozillafirebird, and it can't find my page. I then slid over to my windows box and pulled it up on internet explorer and it worked there, but phpinfo says the version is still 4.2.1 (i did restart apache). Any ideas on why that is still on the old version, and also why firebird can no longer find my server name? TIA!
