This is gonna drive me crazier soon. I've installed apache2, started up, check it, get a test page, everything's happy.
Compile php5, it puts the .so where it belongs, so far so good. Edit httpd.conf, put in the AddType and LoadModule lines, restart apache.
test page, check. create info.php in htdocs, go to pull up the page... here's where the problem is. Instead of the page, I get a popup that says "..info.php is of MIME type x-http-php what do you want to do with it?" options of save or open w/helper app.
I've gone over the instructions about 6 times, checked the spellings, the permissions, the flags...
Any ideas?
I'm really wiped out tonite, but if it helps I'll do it over again tomorrow in a typescript so I can show you the exact commands/flags I've used.
I'm just really confused cuz it seems to get to the AddType fine but has the LoadModule broken?
Thanks.
