*Urgent* Error sending html mail in linux . Error in the link tag

I´ve done this newsletter system and it worked fine in the windows test server.
But when i run it in the linux final server the html page have errors in the link tag.
it only happens when i send the page throw email, it´s right when i open it from the browser.

example:

<a href= "www.test.com?id=999"

when i receive the page in the email goes to:

<a href= "www.teste.com?id=xo9" >

it only happens with the numbers parameters.

This is urgent because i have to finish this work soon.

Does anyone know how to fix this ?
The server uses send mail with post fix .Im not the one in the charge of it.

please post the PHP code that creates/send the email.

it worked after changing
// $head = $head. "\nContent-transfer-encoding: quoted-printable";

to

// $head = $head. "\nContent-transfer-encoding: 7bit";
