[Resolved] Redirect Code

Hi All,

Try follow me with this..

you are on my page ie: page.php?id=1

you click a link to visit page2.php you fill in a form click sumbit you are now on page2.php?action=save i want it to go back to page.php?id=1

now page.php could be id=1 or 2 or 3...... and so on

any ideas??

Make the link carry the id from page.php to page2.php. Send it as a hidden field in the form, which redirects using header().

so add something like this

<input type="hidden" name="url" value="???">

how would i add the url to this??

Used GET method
ex.

<form  method="get" action="page.php">
<input type="hidden" name="id" value="1">
</form>

Use get method if you want to see your variable (id) in the address bar.
this is the output url of the hidden form: page.php?id=1

how do i add a re-direct code in php... the current redirect is in as a header code....
