Has anyone had any problems sending email to hotmail or yahoo via PHP? It seams like it takes HOURS for the email to reach the inbox. Is this a problem with sending email via PHP?
Nope, it is just hotmail.
I've seen the same thing with my Excite test/spam account. In fact, I've seen it take up to two days for a message sent from a PHP script to arrive there, while the same message will reach other, regular accounts in minutes or seconds.
Is there away to send the email via SMTP? or would that be the same thing since it's using PHP?
