unserialize problem

Hello!

I have a problem with unserialize() function. When I try to unserialize an object previously serialized I get an error, something like:
unserialize() failed at offset 0 of 122 bytes....

I'm sure if you've seen it u know what I'm talking about.
It's a real headache, because I try to store an object in db or plain text file and then read it an use it...
Any ideas how to make it work?

Is it so stupid question? Or did nobody else had that problems?

Oh, yeah... I'm using 4.3.9 php build - I tried installing 5.0.x (I think 5.0.2), but it didn't work - something about missing dll, or something like that; when I tried to to test a script via IIS... I installed everything according to the docs, but it did not work, so I went back to 4.3.9.

Can someone help, please 🙁
