file saving and rename.

Hi,

I have a site with a lot of webcams. I'm planing that users can capture images. My idea was saving the captured image temponary and then rename it by counter (image1, image2 and so on). But i don't know how i can save and rename the image with php. I don't found a command for this. I hope someone can help me.

PS: Sorry my english but i hope you know what i mean. 😉

So when the webcam is playing you want the user to be able to capture a certain spot in the movie?

hmm, the webcam pictures are not present as a video stream. it will be loaded from a FTP Server. Most 20 or 30 Pictures per minute.
