I recently built a guestbook and I would like to add a cookie to it that will remember the user's name when he or she types it in.

When a user enters a name, I want the form to automatically have that user's name entered into the text field the next time he or she visits the guestbook.
I noticed that PHP.net has this on their search field. You enter a search for something on there, and it remembers it on the next visit to the page. Check it out. http://www.php.net.
I'm assuming this is pretty stuff. Can anyone help me? I tried figuring it out on my own by reading the PHP Manual from PHP.net, but it just didn't make sense.
