Hi everybody.
This is a little bit of help for thos with problems with emailing to hotmail:
I have seen alot of people while i have been searching has had the same problem and no propper answers, PHP mail isnt being sent to Hotmail sucessfully.
I have scoped the net and found the answer!
This (the usuall way) doesnt work:
mail($to, $subject, $message, $headers);
However, this does:
$fromemail = "info@hedcase.co.uk";
$tomail = "dir_0002@hotmail.com";
$subject = "test";
$name = "Scott";
$message = "testing";
$headers = "MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n";
$headers .= "From: $name <$fromemail>\r\n";
$headers .= "Reply-to: $name <$fromemail>\r\n";
$headers .= "X-Priority: 3\r\n";
$headers .= "X-Mailer: PHP mailer\r\n";
$bounce = "-fbounce@myhost.com";
mail ($tomail, $subject, $message, $headers, $bounce);
There needs to be the extra headers AND the additional parameter: $bounce
This is a question about a slight problem with the above:
THERES JUST ONE PROBLEM!
I have tried swapping "-fbounce@myhost.com" with my address: "-info@hedcase.co.uk".
This didnt arrive at $tomail.
