Prevent people from typing address.

I am using this private message system which i have attached below.

The problem is, when people send msgs to each other, it is VERY easy for people to manually type a random number (number being the number of the msg in the database) to view other peoples messages into the address bar.

Can anyone please help me, to prevent this, or at least help prevent it.

Is it even possible? Im new to php so please explain easily, or talk in step by step points or something.

I'd assume these people are somehow logged into the system? Couldn't you assign owner and recipient to the messages and put some code in to say the only they could see the message?

Its an open source game and people are logged into it with their own accounts but after playing about with this new script, i find that u can type in the number of each msg.

I have no idea how to go about this, and even if someone told me, i probably wouldnt be able to do it. :rolleyes:

I didnt expect to get people like u being nasty.

Im new, everyone starts somewhere and i will give it ago, i was hoping someone NICE would be willing to help. If you dont want to then dont even reply to this topic.

You stated yourself that you probably wouldn't know how to apply it even if someone told you what that sounded like to me was that you were looking for someone to take your code, fix it and then post that. If this is not the case then I appologize. However, when you speak in such a mannor as to give a misimpression it's not very polite to call someone else mean for acting upon that misimpressions, now is it?

Im sorry but i am only asking for some help. I dont mind attempting to do it myself (obviously) but i just need a little guidance.
