Is there any command in mysql to get the ipaddress of the system where the mysql is installed

Well.. Propably not but why on earth do you need one? I mean, if youre connecting with php you have to set mysql-server in that. If its localhost, then its the same server-ip that the script is running. If its something else.. Well thats it then 🙂
