Updated News section! plz help

Please help me I am a noob at php and hove no clue....

Heres wot I want to do...
I am building a site which requires a news update on the right side of the website, example, the clan news section will be on every page of the site and I need to be able to change it WITHOUT haveing to change every page of the site.
Anyone got any ideas how??????

hi!

you can write a file which contains the news, lets say 'news.php'

on every page you say at the place where you normally would enter your code to show the news

include("news.php");

thats it! if you want to change anything you just have to do so in 'news.php'

so in the normal html code I just put that? and it will work??

include() is a php function, so you have to write in a php-file
just change your .html to .php and write

<?php 
  include("news.php"); 
?>
