Xbrowser issues with links

I've only come across this when I'm using php, but my links are making the tables expand in IE on OSX.

Since PHP doesnt exactly do the HTML it only outputs it after execution I doubt its actually a PHP problem. But as in using FireFox i couldnt see anything wrong.

My advise is if you can at all avoid it, to drop support for IE on Macs.

This is because:

1. The vendor no longer supports the kit anyway
2. Mac users have plenty of other good browsers (which IE is not anyway), including Safari and Mozilla
3. Mac IE has SOO MANY lame bugs which are difficult or impossible to work-around, it is almost impossible to support if you are making a fairly rich web application.

Of particular concern is the behaviour of Mac IE crashing as soon as a gnat farts in its general direction.
