transfering data

Hi I need to transfer data from one page to another by a link. For example, I have the username and password of a user for a particular website login stored in my db, and I want to give the user a link in which they will click and the website with the login box will be filled with their info. It does not have to take them striaght into the websites auth, but just have the fields filled out for them. How can this be done? Javascript?

but the 2nd website does not belong to me, I dont control it, it is my friends.

Then your friend will have to make some changes as well; there's nothing you can send in a link to another page that will ensure that the form on the other page will have its fields filled out, unless the program generating the other page interprets the content of the link appropriately.
