I came across a PHP framework the other day which is very similar to ASP.NET. It's called PRADO, and seems very promising. The website is http://www.xisc.com It's developed for PHP 5.

someone trying to copy MS . . . .what is the world turning into.

i personally never liked the server controls on .NET (what prado is trying to copy) as they are limiting and create processor overhead. Now if Prado lets you seamlessly create your own controls like .NET then that would be pretty cool.
