Hi there. These are warehouse locations. Am I even able to sort this field?? I would like to sort by number then letter. The sort should look like.... 1A 2A 1B 2B 1C 2C
the best way it to make it two fields in the database --> lot_num (int) and lot_let (char). Then you can order by lot_num,lot_let and get what you want.
I agree with drawmack that that is the best way... you could also write some complex regexp stuff, but it is much ezer to do that going in than while sorting!
