An interesting situation.....
In PHP date('W') returns the week number 1-53 with week 1 begging the first week which includes a Thursday in the new year.
In MySQL there appears to be no equivalent function. WEEK(yourdate) can return several options, but none of the options described seems to be equivalent to PHP's week function.
I am assuming that WEEK('somedate',3) would be the closests...
Any suggestions?
