Is there any way to dynamically display database records in page titles using php?

For instance, if someone has selected a page on my website that displays lists of papers. I'd like the the name of the paper (also in the database) to appear in the page title instead of having a generic "these are all the papers about games" title.

Search engine wise is there any reason I wouldn' t want to do this?

put a php line in between <title> and </title>

search engine wise, it makes no difference, when they scan pages they see the exact same thing a client would see from IE or Opera -- HTML not PHP 😉
