We have a website that collects links... After a while these links may be duplicated because we don't have a proper chacker in place yet. I have it set up to check the link and that works good but sometimes the file name in the url is the same as in a different url so it may appear that the link is ok and we can continue to submit but it is still the same file and the same content. I want to split the file name from the url and check the file name against the urls in the database. All I need to know is how to strip the main part of the url off of the link and leave just what is after the last slash. I know it must be a simple solution but I don't even know where to really begin. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Seth
