I believe this a simple question, but it has not been so simple for me to figure out as of yet. I have an application that registers people from a database fed to me by an AS/400. The people's business names sometimes contain apostrophes. ie. chris' place. When the application goes to register them and insert them into a seperate database, it acts like nothing happended. The application gives no error, but there is no trace of the person who registered. I know it has to do with the apostrophe, and I have changed the variable type to "text,var char,char" and a couple more. The work around is to remove all apostrophes all together out of the database, but I would like to figure this out. If any one has any ideas, please, help me out.
