[Resolved] making content from database dynamic?

Hi there,

Just a quick question really which i have never found an answer to (may be a easy one).

I store all of my site content in a mysql database, however, on some occasions i want to echo php content, however it doesnt let me?

e.g echo $_SESSION['username'];

whats the easyest way of doing this?

is there a setting in php.ini or can i do this on the fly (on just the content section) so it doesnt leave any security holes on other areas of my site.

I notice vbulletin manages to get round it but cant spot where?

I'm not sure I follow your question. Can you post again and explain a little more clearly or give an example of what you wish to do?

for example, if i store all my homepage content in a database table, and in par of that content i want to echo out "welcome {username}" it won't let me.
