Mail () issues

Hello,

I am using the php mail()
The problem I have is that i sparitcly get the emial the server was supposed to send and the ones i don't get do not show up on the servers mail log?

So how do I in the script tell if the mail() worked and if not, generate the reason it errored out?

Ok the mail function isnt going to tell you the error and i doubt very much your host is going to give access to the mail logs.

All you can do is see if the PHP Mail function sent the mail to the mail server to send out. But once the mail has been sent to the server nothing else can be obtained from the mail function.

mail function can only tell whether it gave the email to the email server without problems or not.
after that all is with the mail server and you cant do anything.
