CGI Timeour on IIS

I am running PHP application on IIS.

I am getting the following error on the scripts that tend to take more time.

I have not much idea ogf this first of all why php script run as a CGI on IIS.

I have searched for this in google as well. Only solution that i came across was to increase the 'CGI Timeout' value in the IIS control panel.

My application is on a shared server and the hosting company is nor very keen on increasing this value.

Is there any solution???

Firstly running PHP as a CGI on IIS is a bit of a security risk to start with. Id say ditch the host.

What is the script actually suppose to be doing, i dont use PHP with IIS at all so I cannot give any suggestions in that bit.
