Displaying data in two or more coloumns

hi all,

i have records in a database (mysql) and want to display them in two coloumns and not one as usual, or to display them vertically

here is the table: imgname, imgpath

here is how i want to display them:

imgname imgpath imgname imgpath imgname imgpath
xxx zzz xxx2 zzz2 xxx3 zzz3

foreach loop
if statement
and the % (modulo operator)

thanx for the replay, i used to use % in C programming for knowing even and odd numbers, but how i can use them in PHP?

i will be thankfull if you insert a sample code.
