Hi to all,

i am C programmer and i was searching in PHP for function to find next file in current directory. I could not find any.

Can anybody help me?

Have you taken a look at the directoy functions they allow to read each file that is in the current directory or any other directory.

Yes i was searching but didnt find any, only some pathinfo() and so on.
I need to grab names of all files in current directory for following work. Something what i can do with CFileFind class in C++.

I am sorry i am beginner in PHP but i really searched there.

You can use the Directory Functions (as planetsim said; pathinfo() is a filesystem function). See especially the examples on this page.

i am sorry, i havent found this, i was searching in file functions and so on.

Thank you for your patience, you must have really enough with users like me. But on other way, i love php and prefer it before microsoft everywhere i can.

You just didn't read planetsim's answer carefully, but nobody is immune from that. We all (I think I can safely say) hope you come back if you need more help. Then read the answers carefully. 🙂

And I'll add that I, too, love PHP. But I also think dot net is great.
How's that for sticking my head over the parapet?

anyway i will for sure come back, here are the great people.

.net is maybe fine, but web should stay simple, straight forward and free. And that note about parapet i didnt understand, hope you are not looking through the window to me :-)
