Simplifying the start-up procedure

When I switch on my computer and decide to do a little PHP action, I need to click the 'start Apache' icon then I need to open up the MySQL thing and then I need to open up Internet Explorer.

Ok, it only takes a few seconds and it's no big deal but I was wondering if anyone knows a way to make these three events happen automatically upon every start up.

As your using IE i assume your using Windows. Ok well firstly open the command prompt (dos)

depending on where you installed Apache

e.g. c:\Program Files\Apache\bin

$ c:\program files\apache\bin\apache -k install

Should say its installed as a service if you changed the path correctly thats an example

MySQL is much easier a shortcut way is to go the the MySQL Bin Directory and open the WinMySQLAdmin.exe file from then on it should run as a service.

You should also be able to write a batch file (and give it a wee icon too, if you like) that will carry out all those actions.

use a batch file

if u have windows 98 etc then u wont be able to install apache/mysql as a service.
if it is win nt/2k/xp then u can install both mysql and apache as a service.

apart from batch file you can also put the shortcuts to these applications in the windows startup folder.
