Switch between Secure and Non-Secure ports without losing exchanged fields

plz guide me how to Switch between Secure([url]https://[/url]) and Non-Secure([url]http://[/url]) ports without losing exchanged fields (including hidden)
like in e- commerce application at the time of credit card validation.

form data (POST, GET) will not be lost when switching between http and https. session data may be lost (if the https page is hosted on a different server for example). in this case there are alternate means of session storage and propagation.
