Ok sorry to sound rude this is probably not the forum you want to post this in Echo Lounge is much better but do not worry.
Anyway
Im just finishing up the part of the course which would be the equivalent to that. If this would get you a job i would be greatly surprised for my experience so far its extremely easy and unfortunately is very Windows based, so get use to using IIS.
If I am thinking correctly you should probably do the Diploma part of it (that is if this course is the one I am thinking of), its suppose to go into more group work projects and actually have to do some work for a client which is probably going to be the best part of this course.
It also gives you the opportunity to start using Linux as well in the Diploma, which for most in my current class will struggle as they have trouble the IIS/Windows part.
You may also here not sure on where you are but Wollongong Uni has an exact same course (as its uni it looks better of course) however its very little pratical and a tonne of theory).
As for jobs dont just do the tafe work once you get good at most of the Windows work, any programming, html etc involved it will become quite easy and non-challenging, so take some initiative and do some other projects to improve so later on you can show some work you did in Tafe to prove that Certificate as well as out of Tafe work.
Goodluck
