I'm having real troble trying to understand Csv and the function fgetcsv(). Do you store data seperated by a comma and every new entry goes on a different line. At the moment I am storing data in a txt file. Each entry is seperated by "|+|" and each variable is seperated by "||". Heres a example.

Megahertza||Radeon|+|Megahertza||New entry|+|

Is csv stored like this

Megahertza,Radeon,Megahertza,New entry

With csv, how to tell which one is a new entry.

each field is separated by a comma
each record is separated by a new line
the first line typically denotes field names

How does fgetcsv get the information out of a csv file.
Does it take each line into a array and explodes "," every array/line componet.

So when I want the username from the 5 line i would have

echo "$data[4][0]";

this code might be wrong, but is close. I just need to know if CSV databases work like this
