Identifying email addresses

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had written anything that was able to identify and link email addresses in a block of text. There are lots of email validators out there, but the problem we are running in to is if there is a comma, period, or any other special character after the email address, how to exclude that from the link. For example:

This is a test, please email me at [e-mail],if you have any info. The [e-mail] will be underlined, excluding the comma.

I don't get this one...

Open Notepad and make this change:

<a href="...">,</a>

<a href="..."></a>,

Or are these email addresses dynamically generated in some way?
