[Resolved] absolute paths in windows?

hello:

i've been developing a site for a linux box. in one file, i have an absolute path defined to my web root:

define(FS_ROOT, '/home/site/public_html/foo/bar');

i have a web-savvy client who as installed php for windows on his local machine and is using IIS or PWS to view the site...seems to work pretty well in a browser but obviously this path is wrong.

what should i change it to?? c:/inet/wwwroot is where the files live...

I'm not 100% sure, but I think localhost will replace that c:/inet/wwwroot/.

So localhost would point to wwwroot. So if you have subdirectories you would refer to them as:
\localhost/subdir

No, you're confusing URLs with file paths. localhost is a synonym for 127.0.0.1 - an IP address.

C:\inet\wwwroot
