On my website, my users will have the ability to upload a video or audio clip on my site. I dont have a problem with the uploading. I am saving the file names as, the usersname plus the index number..ie..... mdojet5.mpg. My problem is that not every file that is uploaded will be an MPG. Some may be a .avi, .mov., etc. what do you guys suggest I do to get the proper file extention attached to the file name? Thanks!
