This is the strangest thing. Typically, you can send an attachment using the mail() function and be hunky dory.
However, after much testing, we determined that after switching ISPs, I'll have to change my mail script to send attachments in 3 steps:
a. upload to /tmp/ directory
b. open file and attach to email
c. delete from /tmp/ after mail is sent
It's the oddest thing; is there something they should be checking? It seems rather convoluted here.
My mail script is totally finished and worked on every ISP up to this point. Can anyone direct me to the necessary steps I'll need to take to upload the attachment, open it and attach, and then delete from tmp? I've only done uploads through direct form submission, but I'll assume the principle is the same.
TIA,
Eve
