Session Log off time

I'm now uploading my php 5 site to a free host on php 4.3. My login system runs on flat files and uses sessions to keep users loged on.

On my testing machine when u close the explorer and the open the weppage in other explorer it logs the user out.

When its on the free host site it does not log them off for some time. Can I do anything about this or is there any other security methods a noob can u

i think you can perform session_destroy on window.close event,
so it automatically send command to destroy the session to ur server
when browser is closed
