Reset button doesnt clears the form

Hi
I have a form of which some fields are filled by javascript on clicking a button.
This fileds are not cleared when the user presses the reset button.
Can someone explain.

I think the reset button will only work to clear a field that the user has typed into, rather than one filled by js.

But, surely your solution is to create a second js function, looking pretty much like the original, that just sets blank fields.

I dont think so.
I have java script calendar on that form too.
When i change the date by that calendar & then press the reset button the date field gets reset(i.e it contains the value which was present before)

The solution is still to do what I said ... create a javascript function that just clears the fields you want to clear!!
