Data Recovery Companies?

Anyone used a data recovery (futzed HDD) company in the US? I recently got caught with a lost MySQL DB, and I'd like to examine my options, as it belonged to one of my best customers, and I'd like to make sure they're happy again. 🙁

Can you address the quality of their work, the speed, and the cost?

If you have any experience and have a second to give a word of advice, I'd appreciate it.

I used these guys one time years and years ago, one time, very expensive, very thorough and complete, very worth it at the time.

Yeah. Expensive for my company, to be sure.

Looking at Gillware, but they don't do "cleanroom" stuff; I have a feeling they'll be shipping it back with a "sorry" note on it.

Talked with the major client today; she may just say "forget it and let's start over."

Still don't feel too good about it though.....
