data from .dat-file to database

Hi!
i've got a log file which is updatet every minute. this logfile looks like this:

IPadress macadress timestamp hostname
IPadress macadress timestamp hostname
IPadress macadress timestamp hostname
IPadress macadress timestamp hostname

now i want to get those information from the logfile (arp.dat) into a database.

how do i manage that ?
