Looping Rows in a template system

I have seached like crazy for the past hour or so and I cannot find the answer anywhere! I searched around for a good template system and the only decent one I could comprehend was smarty so I tried playing around with it. But with Smarty you cannot loop rows. Does anyone know a engine that allows you to loop rows. If not can you point me to a detailed tutorial/post on classes because yet again I cannot find a good one.

I'm not a smarty expert but AFAIK you can loop using sections or foreach loops.

google around a bit.
