Can't send email from PHP

Dear forum!

I have 2 Macintosh computers, both running latest version of Mac OS X Panther. I can send email from PHP on one of them but not the other.

I'm trying to find out what the difference may be between the two computers. Can someone please help me with this?

The first computer that can send email have no router, the other that can't send email is on another ISP and connected to the network with a router. Can that be the problem?

I'm using Apache, PHP, mySQL

Now I have made some tests without a router and I got the same result. I can't send mail. Can someone please tell me where the preferences is for mail when I'm using Apache and PHP?

Well...

Since it works on one computer, then it obviously works fine on the server. So that narrows down to being outside the realm of PHP and this forum.

I dont know alot about Macs, since they suck (in my opinion), but the best thing to do, in my opinion, would to be to get the latest patches and browser updates for the machine that doesnt work. If it still doesnt work after all of the updates have been made, compare what's different between the machines. Browsers and plug-ins only really.

If all else fails, get a PC, then I can help better.
