Web cam to the HTML/PHP page

How can I connect web cam to the HTML/PHP page, make a photo and save it in the folder at server or anywhere?

You would simply call the picture from the url of the webcam (fopen) and then create a new picture file in the folder which contains the same data as the data you just downloaded.

Do you know how to access the webcam? What the URL, port number etc is?

the idea is that customers will be registering themselves and at one point they will see image of themselves (web cam connected to localhost) and when person presses CAPTURE imgs stays and automatically saves to user. But the question is how can I save this img from web cam?

Well, why not just get them to upload the photo to you?

I can not do this becausd the pages willl be running on couple computers at reception.. so when someone need to register, he enteres his details and makes foto of himself via web cam installed on the computer. So if we are talking about using different software it will become nightmare for users....

Hmm, this isn't being explained properly. 😉 You have 4 computers, a new user registers their photo on one of them using a webcam.

If you're database is running within the office, you'd be better off writing this in VB, C++ or something similar (java maybe).
