My girlfriend has decided that she would like a PDA, and being the nerd that I am, said I would get it all taken care of for her 🙂 Problem being, I rapidly discovered that the things that I found neat, or vital, to a PDA, are almost guaranteed not to be useful to a normal user. With this in mind, does anyone have a suggestion as to which is better in the long run for an average user, a PalmOS based device, or PocketPC based? Any opinions greatly appreciated...

    Another option is a PDA phone like the Sony Ericisson P910 (Symbian OS) and Treo 600 (Palm OS). This way you do not need to carry two items. You also have the blackberry, but that is large.

    As for the best OS I like Symbian and the Pocket PC over the Palm.
