Is there a way of knowing if the user downloaded a file completely?
our aim is that, every customer gets unique ref. number. he/she can use it to download a file. But if the file is not completely downloaded. he can use back the number to download again. until completely download.
i have searched the forum, there is one thread talking that but it is not too concrete. could any one please share me more ideas?

my think is that.
the system popup a window and send the content to the client for download the file. after finish, we call a php file link and set the file entry flag to "completed". if not call (mean not complete downloaded, then will not set the flag). the system use the flag to authenicate could he download again?
is it possible to get back even after the file completely downloaded.
