list box & and database.

Hello...i hope can get assistance from those who are expert in php. My problem is here : -

I'm creating a list box and inside got 3 items for example blue,green, and red. Previously i choose blue and click submit in my form then 'blue' this word has been saved into my mysql database. After that, i want to change (maybe edit) from blue to 'green'. In my update form.i want display the existing value which is blue. SO MY QUESTION IS HOW I GOING TO TAKE THE VALUE FROM DATABASE AND DISPLAY IT IN MY LIST BOX?? This is easy when i do for text box, i just simply type <input type="text" name="some_name" value=$row[myvalue]> and i can get the value easily from $row[myvalue] (database)... But if it was list box ..?? how?? plz help

Use an option group on your form and set the item selected value to that in your db http://www.htmlhelp.com/reference/html40/forms/option.html
