I need to Network with developers in my area, Lincoln NE, anybody?

Okay lets try this again.

I m looking for PHP/ASP/JSP/web developers or designers in the Lincoln nebraska area that may be able to assist me with a job search. I need to do some networking with people in the area to take advantage of any word of mouth about jobs that are not listed in the usual places and to get any pointers I may need about adding to my skill set for this market.

I am only able to work in the Lincoln area so unfortunately Omaha is out of the question.

ps; My apologies if my original post had a misleading subject line. I'm just looking for some help to find a job I'm not offering one. I have a family of four soon to be five and I didn't plan on losing my job, especially on the holidays.
