Installing GD library -- HELP!

How do i install this libraty in order to manipulate images such as JPG's..

I already have install PHP 4.3.9 but i need to manipulate some images and looks like i need this libraty.

Where do i download it? after that how do i install it?

The answer depends on the VERISON of GD that you want.

PHP comes standard with GD built-in.

Use the "--with-gd" option on the "configure" line (along with whatever other options you want) -

./configure --with-gd [other-options]

then

make

then

make install
