PHP form that updates text file read into Flash

What i need to do is set up a PHP form that posts the input information into a text document that is read into flash. I want the text document to be updated with the new info, not overwritten. i know enough PHP to get a form going, but that's about it. someone help me out...

what is the format of the text file (tab delimited, csv, etc)? If you want to append (add a new line at the end of the file's contents), then use fopen("filename","a").
