Retrieving a string from mysql database

Hello,

I am not experienced at retrieve a complete string
from a mysql database. I am storing an address string.

<EX: '1234 Someplace Circle'>

When I retrieve the value which is in the table field,
I get only the 1234.

The full string is in the table field.

Do I really need to do something to get the whole string.

I have tried AddSlashes and StripSlashes and it did not seem
to help.
