Static Table?

I want to make one of my html table static
I mean when i write something inside of it with php its height is increasing so it is effecting other tables and my web page is corrupting

but it only happens if somebody uses a different display resolution

how can i fix it does anyone have any idea?

what does have to do with PHP? things like HTML table sizes and user screen resolutions are all purely client-side.

This is one of the things that made me abandon table layouts and shift over to CSS.

And then along came IE6 to screw with CSS. You should see what it does to my pages that looked fine in IE5.5.
